About Me

Hello!

 

Welcome to room 241! I am so happy to be your child's teacher this year! I look forward to getting to know your child, and watching them grow as students and individuals.

 

I have been in education for 22 years. I taught in the Pattonville School District for 10 years, and then was fortunate enough to get hired in Edwardsville 11 years ago. I truly love teaching in the same district where my children go to school. I also have Masters Degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Reading.

 

I am a mother of two energetic boys. Evan is 16 years old and Cole is 14 years old. In our spare time, we run from one sporting event to the next, as I am sure most of you do too!

 

I think parent/teacher communication is the most powerful tool we have. When your children know we are on the same page, they understand they are accountable.

 

I know we will have a wonderful year!
